The Promote Control is an advanced remote control that works with your digital SLR. It has some very nice features and will make taking different types of photographs very easy. If you want to take HDR or time-lapse photography this remote will make it a snap. With it you have the ability to adjust exposure bracketing and bracketing step variability which aren’t always possible with in-camera modes. It will also put your camera in bulb mode which works great when you are using exposures longer than 30 seconds. One of the best features of this remote is the time lapse mode. This is usually reserved for high end professional cameras however with this mode on the Promote Control any camera can start taking time lapse photographs. The MSRP of 299.00 is a little on the high side but with all of the features it is still a really nice product.
